A specialized artistic panel of three members reviews eligible applications and selects projects for support in two stages: Firstly, each panel member independently evaluates the applications without knowledge of each other’s assessments. Secondly, the panel convenes as a group after comparing their individual evaluations to discuss the shortlisted projects and decide which ones to support.
Ettijahat – Independent Culture strives in its work to be in constant exchange with the needs of the Syrian arts and culture sector, its diaspora, and beyond with the Arab Levant region. This is done through support and empowerment frameworks that meet these different needs and improve the interaction of this sector with public life. Ettijahat periodically publishes open calls for the organisation’s different areas of work, targeting individuals, groups and artistic entities and institutions.
